Meanwhile, Peking University's newly opened Weiming Lake ice rink has quickly become a popular attraction, drawing visitors for ice and snow sports every weekend. Aiming to transform standard public tours into immersive educational experiences, Peking University is granting free access to its prestigious Arthur M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology, Museum of Biology, Geological Museum, and other notable attractions. Tsinghua University has also arranged for mobile campus tour guides to enrich the visitor experience during the winter vacation. To manage the expected influx of visitors, the universities have stipulated that their daily visiting hours during the winter vacation will be extended by one hour in the morning and afternoon. Tsinghua University has increased its daily reservation capacity to accommodate over 12,000 visitors, an increase of approximately 50% compared to previous figures. Peking University has optimized dedicated entry channels to prevent overcrowding at campus entrances during peak hours.
